Please remember Volunteer Speedway owner Joe Loven and his family in your thoughts and prayers. The family has suffered a heartbreaking loss.

Joe’s daughter, Vanessa, her youngest son (John Mylon Brown) sadly passed away on Sunday (November 9, 2014) afternoon. Many will remember John from helping his brothers, Trevor and Joey, work alongside Joe at “The Gap” when the boys were younger. John was much-loved by all who knew him, and he was a very special, brilliant young man.

John graduated in Spring 2013 from Northeast State Community College (located beside Tri-Cities Regional Airport) in Blountville, and he was currently attending East Tennessee State University in Johnson City.
