Jonathan Davenport captured the FloRacing Night In America presented by Kubota second annual Scott Bloomquist Memorial “Scorcher” $20,018 victory, over Hudson O’Neal, Camaron Marlar, Dale McDowell and Jimmy Owens.
Davenport overtook pole-sitter and early leader Cory Hedgecock on lap 15 and turned back eighth-starting O’Neal amid lapped traffic to record the win.The 41-year-old Davenport beat O’Neal to the finish by 0.565 of a second.
Hedgecock pulled off the track on lap 26 after he cut down a tire running third as Davenport captured his second win of 2025 and the sixth of his career on the FloRacing Night in America circuit. His previous triumph this season came May 7 at Spoon River Speedway.
Marlar, who won last year’s inaugural Bloomquist Memorial, ran third the final 23 laps, nearly going three-wide for the lead with Davenport and O’Neal on lap 48. Bobby Pierce saw his FloRacing Series lead shrink from 87 to 48 points over Davenport after a quiet 13th-place finish.
