RACE DATE: Friday and Saturday, August 19 & 20, 2022

 

EVENT: Back the Gap Summer Series – Fan Appreciation Weekend presented by Andrew Johnson Bank, Tommie’s Plumbing, Nick Bales Construction, Baroonie’s Bar & Grill, Alpine Construction and Grassroots Media.

 

ADMISSION NIGHTLY – FRIDAY & SATURDAY, AUG. 19 & 20: (Cash Only. No Cards Accepted!): FREE GRANDSTANDS! … $30 adult pits, $10 (ages 5-10), with kids 4-and-under free.

 

GATES: Friday, Aug. 19 – Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and grandstands at 5 p.m. ….. Saturday, Aug. 20 – Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and grandstands at 5 p.m.

 

RACING: Friday, Aug. 19 – Crate Late Model (30 laps), Sportsman Late Model (25 laps), Street Stock (20 laps), Classic (20 laps), and Front Wheel Drive (20 laps).

 

Saturday, Aug. 20 – Crate Late Model (30 laps), Sportsman Late Model (25 laps), Kajun Mini Stock Association (25 laps), Street Stock (20 laps), Classic (20 laps), and Front Wheel Drive (20 laps).

 

DRIVERS MEETING / HOT LAPS / QUALIFYING: Drivers meeting Friday at 6:30 p.m. Hot laps will begin at 7 p.m., with (5 hot laps – 6 cars) times via the transponder being qualifying for EACH CLASS! ….. Drivers meeting Saturday at 6 p.m. Hot laps will begin at 7:45 p.m. following on-track Fan Appreciation Meet the Drivers activities, with (5 hot laps – 6 cars) times via the transponder being qualifying for EACH CLASS!

 

☆ Saturday, on-track Fan Appreciation Meet the Drivers activities between 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. ….. Drivers, get photos, candy, bicycles, etc. to give your fans! ☆

 

LOCATION: Volunteer Speedway, located just off Interstate 81 (Exit 23) at 14095 West Andrew Johnson Highway (Hwy. 11-E), in Bulls Gap, Tennessee 37711.
