Former NASCAR driver Ken Schrader to race Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Volunteer Speedway

Former NASCAR driver Ken Schrader / Ken Schrader Racing Inc. is scheduled to compete at Volunteer Speedway’s 15th Annual Scorcher on WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 14, as part of the Fall weekend of NASCAR racing in East Tennessee at Bristol Motor Speedway and Bulls Gap, USA.

Schrader will be racing with the Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series. The Fenton, Missouri-native Schrader raced in the NASCAR Cup Series from 1984 through 2013, making 763 starts and collecting four career series wins. Schrader has also competed in the Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series of NASCAR, along with having competed in ARCA events as well. Schrader has raced dirt over the course of much of his storied career and still competes in the Open Wheel Modified at various events around the country.
