Mitch and Tanya McCarter receive 2018 World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Promoter of the Year’

BULLS GAP, Tenn. (Nov. 4, 2018) — Before one of the biggest crowds ever at Volunteer Speedway on Saturday, June 2, the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series made a much-anticipated return to “The Gap” for the first time in a decade for running of the $10,000-to-win East Tennessee Shootout. The night before on Friday, June 1, the WoO Late Model Series made their first-ever visit to 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour (located just outside of Knoxville) for round one of the East Tennessee Shootout, which also paid $10,000-to-win.

For their efforts in hosting two big nights of World of Outlaws racing, Volunteer Speedway promoter and 411 Motor Speedway owners, Mitch McCarter and wife Tanya, received the 2018 World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series “Promoter of the Year” award on Sunday, Nov. 4 at the World of Outlaws banquet in Charlotte, N.C.
